The province and the nation are coordinating actions for the prevention and treatment of drug addiction.

Aprecod, the provincial agency that deals with the problem, signed an agreement with Sedronar. "The prevention and treatment of drug use is as important as the fight that we, together with the governor, give in terms of security," said Scaglia.

In the presence of the Vice-Governor, Gisela Scaglia, and the Minister of Equality and Human Development, Victoria Tejeda, the Secretary of the Agency for the Prevention of Drug Use and Integral Treatment of Addictions (Aprecod), Luciano Sciarra, signed a collaboration agreement with the National Secretary for Integral Drug Policies (Sedronar), Roberto Moro, to design and implement joint public policies to address the problem.

The objective of the agreement is to lay the foundations for an active and coordinated collaboration between the national and provincial governments in the implementation of public policies for the prevention, treatment and reintegration of people affected by problematic drug use.

In this regard, Scaglia emphasized that "the challenge is not only to address the issue of drug trafficking, but to put a very strong and concrete focus on prevention and the fight against consumption, which is as important as the fight we are undertaking together with the Governor in terms of security.

Finally, Moro emphasized: "We believe this is the way to work. From a decentralized perspective, together with the Nation, the Province, and the Municipalities, so that we can share resources and carry out a public policy where both prevention and treatment are within reach of the citizens of the Province of Santa Fe".

In addition, during two meetings held in the cities of Santa Fe and Rosario, the representatives of the Agency reviewed the first months of management and presented the general guidelines of the work plan for this year.

Sedronar officials also visited various institutions in the cities of Santa Fe and Rosario to learn about the work being done in the area to address this social challenge.
Finally, they met with municipal authorities to share experiences, visions and strategies to effectively address the problem of addiction in the province.

The Undersecretary of Sedronar, Silvia Pisano, the Secretary of Inclusion Policies and Social Approaches, Ramón Soques, the Provincial Senator, Ciro Seisas, and the President of the Rosario City Council, María Eugenia Schmuck, among others, participated in the activities.
